UCSB FASHION SHOW 2025

A young cowboy cheats on his love and loses her. He roams the world, searching for purpose, and returns home a changed man. He finds true love but the past catches up. His youth’s new lover takes his life in revenge. In death, his angel leads him to peace. This story framed the spirit of my 2025 show for UCSB. I pushed myself further than ever, sending out 8 total looks, the most I’ve ever presented. For the first time, I really dove into womenswear, creating 4 distinct looks that expanded the range of my vision and marked a new chapter for me as a designer. The collection drew on my takes on modern western wear with my signature boro and sashiko custom stitching, techniques I’ve carried through my past work and now reintroduced in a new light. Each garment was a balance of tradition and modernity, paying homage to the rugged romance of the cowboys life story walking the runway.
